How HomeAdapt works
An independent directory. We explain how the grants work, list the firms and therapists who do grant-funded work, and pass on quote requests only with your consent.
We're a directory, not a contractor or a council
HomeAdapt.ie is not part of any local authority, the HSE or any government body, and it does not carry out work. Grant applications always go to your own local authority. Any contract for work is between you and the business you choose.
Where listing details come from
Listings are compiled from each business's own website and from public lists, such as council grant contractor lists. Cards marked "Supplier-reported details" have not yet been confirmed with the business by phone. We don't vet insurance, tax compliance or the quality of work. Please check these yourself.
How listings are ordered
- On a county page, firms based in that county come first.
- Then firms based elsewhere that name the county as an area they cover.
- Then nationwide firms.
- Within each group, featured listings (marked with a badge) come first, then alphabetical order. Featured placements are part of our founding offer (free until 31 January 2027) or paid.
